ABOUT
Greetings! I am Yeseul Jeon and I am a Ph.D. student in my 5th year, studying Data Science and Statistics at Yonsei University. My advisors are Ick Hoon Jin and Jaewoo Park. I am currently a visiting scholar at Ohio State University in Bioinformatics, where I am working under the guidance of Dongjun Chung.
My area of research encompasses Latent Space Network Modeling, Spatio-temporal Modeling, and assessing uncertainty in Deep Learning Models. I am particularly interested in applying these models to real-world problems, specifically in the areas of neuroscience (ADNI fMRI), spatial transcriptomics data, Network data, and environmental problems data such as geostatistical data.
I am an extroverted individual who enjoys collaborating with others to delve deeper into the significance behind statistical models and embracing diversity.
In my free time, I love to spend my day exercising, such as swimming and running. However, the activity that I find most effective in relieving stress is reading books. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me!
